FAQs

How does Bitcoin work?

The Bitcoin network shares a public ledger called "blockchain". This ledger contains all the transactions processed so far and receives the user's computer to verify the validity of each transaction. The authenticity of each transaction is protected by a digital signature corresponding to the address. Anyone can handle transactions using special hardware computing power and earn rewards with this service.

How is cloud computing different from utility, on-demand and grid computing?

The cloud, by its nature, is "on demand" and contains properties that have been associated with utility models and grid models so far. IBM's cloud computing software, Kristof Kloeckner, grid computing is the ability to take advantage of massive collection of independent computing resources to perform large tasks, by combining the characteristics of this, today's The paradigm of the most attractive IT delivery will also be cloud.

Is there such thing as a private cloud?

The private cloud tries to mimic the distribution model of the public cloud vendor, but in order not to exist completely in the private cloud firewall, one large amount of IT infrastructures is grouped into a simple logical resource pool and advanced It will be virtualized.

What Is SaaS?

SaaS is a method of software delivery that allows data to be accessed from any device with an Internet connection and web browser. In this web-based model, software vendors host and maintain the servers, databases and code that constitute an application. This is a significant departure from the on-premise software delivery model. First, companies don’t have to invest in extensive hardware to host the software, and this in turn, allows buyers to outsource most of the IT responsibilities typically required to troubleshoot and maintain the software. The SaaS vendor takes care of it all.

What types of services are available via the cloud computing model?

Public cloud services fall into three broad categories: software as a service, infrastructure as a service, and platform as a service. SaaS is well-known and consists of software applications provided on the web. Infrastructure refers to the capacity of remotely accessible servers and storage. On the other hand, the service as a platform is a computing and software platform for developers to build and deploy web applications on infrastructure hosted.

What types of applications can run in the cloud?

Technically, you can put any application in the cloud.  For example, there is little reason to run desktop disk defragmentation and system analysis tools in the cloud. More importantly, due to regulatory and compliance concerns, enterprises can not deploy applications that contain specific applications, particularly confidential customer data, in the cloud. According to IDC survey, we maximize the cloud as IT management, collaboration, personal business applications, application development and deployment, server and

storage capacity.

Can applications move from one cloud to another?

Yes, but it is not easy. A service to move applications from one cloud platform to another cloud platform (such as Amazon from GoGrid) and internal data center to the cloud has appeared. However, according to some industry associations, cloud vendors must adopt standards-based technology to ensure true interoperability. The recently announced "Open Cloud Manifesto" supports data and application ability, while the Open Cloud Consortium promotes open framework. The goal is to move the application from one cloud to another.

How can I verify that the data is safe?

The safety of the data in the cloud is not a trivial matter. Online storage vendors such as The Linkup and Carbonite lost data and could not recover for customers. Secondly, there is the danger of confidential data in the wrong hands. Before signing up for a cloud vendor, you need to request information on the practice of data security, scrutinize the SLA, and be able to

encrypt the data even while you are still at rest.

Is cloud computing the same as SaaS (software-as-a-service)?

It can be said that the whole movement towards cloud computing began by showing that IT services can be easily used on the Web. SaaS vendors originally did not use the word cloud to describe the statement, but analysts now believe that SaaS is one of a subset of the cloud computing market.
